ART Therapy
A different kind of therapy that helps you move forward when nothing else is working.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) helps your brain process what feels stuck, so you don’t have to keep reliving it.
When something feels stuck, it can affect everything
You might find yourself replaying memories, overthinking conversations, or feeling overwhelmed in ways that don’t quite make sense.
Maybe you’ve tried to talk through it. Maybe you’ve pushed it down and kept going.
But the same thoughts, reactions, or patterns keep showing up.
This can be especially true in seasons of transition, such as adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum, or moments when life shifts unexpectedly.
It’s not that you’re doing something wrong, it’s that your brain hasn’t had the chance to fully process what you’ve been through.
What is Accelerated Resolution Therapy?
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a research-supported approach that helps your brain process distressing memories, thoughts, and sensations.
Using guided eye movements and imagery, ART works with your brain’s natural ability to resolve what feels stuck, often without needing to discuss every detail.
Instead of focusing only on insight, ART focuses on relief.
It’s not about reliving your past, it’s about changing how it lives in you.
Step 1: We identify what feels stuck
This might be a memory, feeling, belief, or pattern you want to shift.
Step 2: Guided Visualization
With guided eye movements bilateral stimulation, your brain begins to reprocess the experience in a way that reduces its emotional intensity.
Step 3: Replacing Negative Images and Sensations
Finally, you will be guided to replace distressing memories with positive and empowering imagery.
How ART Therapy works
You remain in control the entire time, and we move at a pace that feels safe for you.
What makes ART Therapy different?
You don’t have to talk through every detail
Many clients notice shifts in just a few sessions
Focuses on both mind and body responses
Helps reduce the emotional intensity of memories
Works even when you feel “stuck” in traditional talk therapy
It’s an effective way to create real change, without feeling overwhelmed in the process.
ART Therapy Can Help With:
Co-dependancy, ADHD, OCD, and other daily experiences that are problematic

What To expect in an ART Therapy Session
ART sessions are structured, but also flexible and responsive to you.
We’ll begin by identifying what you want to work on, and then decide which ART modalities will best serve you. In ART you will experience guided eye movements while you alternate between focusing on the experience and grounding your nervous system.
Most clients describe the process as:
empowering
calming
and effective
Each session is designed to help you feel a shift
ART may be a good fit if you…
Feel stuck in patterns that don’t seem to change
Want something deeper than just talking
Feel overwhelmed by the idea of retelling your trauma
Are ready for change, but not sure how to get there
Want a therapy approach that feels both gentle and effective
You don’t have to stay stuck in this
If something in you is ready for change, even if you’re not sure what that looks like yet, this can be a starting point.

ABOUT AMBER
I became a therapist through my experience as a yoga teacher helping women heal through their bodies. In this, my second career and new chapter, I have taken my work with women to a new level of holistic care. Having been in quite a bit of therapy myself, I noticed how much more I was able to grow when I incorporated my body and my mind in healing. I did EMDR and found it to be incredibly helpful for the trauma in my life, however in talking to many friends and family I saw that EMDR could also be very overwhelming when trying to heal. When I learned about Accelerated Resolution Therapy, an opportunity to use the proccess of bilateral simulation along side nervous system regulation and neuroplasticity without the overwhelm or the need for someone to completely recount their deepest traumas; I knew I had to know more. I became basic trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy in early 2023 and advanced trained at the end of 2025. I believe that therapy doesn't have to last years to be impactful. I combine ART with acceptance and commitment therapy to create a personalized 8-12 week program just for you and it is my hope that in that time you find exactly what you are looking for. In therapy with me you can expect to laugh together and cry together, because I also believe that connecting on a deep level is one of the most important parts of therapy. I am always honored and humbled by every human that has entered in and trusted me with their story, and I looks forward to hearing yours too.
